Zension Studio was originally created out of the need to self record, produce and publish Scotty’s original music. Scotty started in a modest project studio located in his home and began working with local artists recording, producing and mixing their music and the studio evolved into what it is today. With the move to the downtown Austin location in 2020, the Studio has greatly expanded space and enhanced recording capabilities. The 1,350 sqft location boasts 2 production rooms, lounge area, kitchen and a 16′ x 22′ tracking room. These improvements transformed Zension from a small home studio space into one of the great recording locations in Southern Minnesota.
